Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain
Banpo bridge is a bridge that crosses the Han river. Recently they updated it into a kind of watershow, undoubtedly to attract tourism while showing off how Korea is really high tech. Probably the best thing about it is that it’s for freeeeeeee!
Banpo Moonlight Rainbow Fountain is the world’s longest bridge fountain with nearly 10,000 LED nozzles that run along both sides that is 1,140m long, shooting out 190 tons of water per minute. It’s a must-see when you visit Seoul.
Every day on my way to work, I cross the river, but I haven’t had the chance to see this bridge in action. Maybe one day I’ll stay late simply so I can get a peek of the bridge.

I saw this once! Really nice seriously lol Not sure but my grandma told me that the fountain show is held less frequently because of the bad economy :S

Well, they talk about how it’s a clear example of green energy and sustainability because it uses the water directly from the river itself, but I think it would save more energy if they didn’t have a fountain in the first place, haha.

I didn’t know that there is a beautiful bridge in Seoul. I think Banpo bridge can be a landmark of Seoul and it can represent the beauty of Seoul. After I go back to Korea, I’ll go to Banpo bridge with my girl friend. 😛

beautiful… I am really glad that the govt. got struck with such a wonderful idea… Seoul needs to develop more distinctive and environmental friendly attractions and make use of Han river more cleverly… I mean the river is much bigger than Thames or other famous rivers but never been as popular
