Bad Korean Joke of the Week

Who is Superman’s horse friend?

Super Mario! (슈퍼말이요)

Difficult Explanation for nonspeakers of Korean

말 (mal) means horse.

There’s only one vowel that represents both L and R.

이요 (iyo) is a semi polite sentence ending in abbreviated from, the full version being 이예요 (iyeyo).

Super Mario in Korean means Super Horse!
